For Michelle, music is the art form that connects people, emotion and the world around us. Driven to write, perform and continually explore, she believes every song has the power to reveal something new—for both the artist and the audience.
Michelle has become known for bringing together outstanding musicians to create performances that blend soul, blues and jazz with honesty, restraint and groove. Her current project features Wade Pinhorn (piano), Bill Simms (bass) and Ed Sutherby (drums), exploring reimagined jazz and blues standards alongside soulful interpretations of classic and contemporary songs. She also continues to write original music while developing new collaborative projects.
